While many were celebrating an Asian tradition of Father's Day on August 8th, typhoon Morakot poured massive rain over Southern Taiwan. The unexpected heavy rainfall triggered mudslides and floods leading to many casualties, missing persons, and others fleeing their homes. While Taiwan and people from all over the world mourn for the victims, reliefs and reconstruction are already underway. In this time, we would like to pay our respects to the victims, rescue workers, and people around the world who contributed and donated to help Taiwan's typhoon relief efforts.
