The second Taiwan Tea Study Tour will be held from June 21 to June 28, 2009 posted by Taiwan Tea Manufacturers Association (TTMA). Sponsored by TTMA, the Taiwan Oolong Tea Study Tour is designed for tea professionals worldwide to have a better understanding of Taiwan Oolongs and the history of Taiwan Teas. With great success from the 2008 October Oolong Tea Study Tour, TTMA intends to present different Taiwan’s tea environments and a rare opportunity to DIY Formosa White Tip Oolong and Wenshan Pouchong Oolong Teas with tea masters on site for guidance. Through visiting various tea plantations/farmers (who’s pride and joy is their teas), observing the innovative yet traditional farming techniques and skillful craftsmanship, having hands on process experience, and interacting with tea farmers/makers, Taiwan Oolong Tea Study Tour will be an enchanting, joyful and fulfilling experience. This 7-day Taiwan Oolong Tea educational field trip will be specially conducted by Master Jackson Huang, a senior advisor as well as former Chairman of TTMA and Thomas Shu, Ambassador of Taiwan Tea.
