It is a good chance for whole family's outing. High school students are also able to receive community service hour credits. Most of the time, the river is quite dry. Our community will be responsible for the "Compton Creek" portion, right next to 710 freeway.
Hakka Concert Night/Taiwanese Heritage Week at the Evangelical Formosan Church of LA
(洛杉磯台福教會, 9537 Telstar Ave., El Monte, CA 91731). This year, we are very proud to present 40-50 youngsters, age 6-20, to perform beautiful Taiwanese-American Hakka music!! Program will be introduced in English and Hakka, and with English/Hanji sub-titles. They have been working for months....it will be a great great event!!
